Each-way Santos Blue

5 wins from 15 runs for Dan Skelton, but hasn't won for over a year where he stayed on well at Wetherby under todays rider Ben Sutton who takes of a helpful 5 pounds here. Most recent run where he was 2nd and bumped into a well handicapped horse of Henry Daly. Should run well

Win Hitman

9 year old who has been at the top his whole career for Paul Nicholls now rated 156. Coming off 2 superb runs to start his season firstly at Aintree but lately at Ascot of top weight (12st) Freddie Gingell gets on well with him and he will go well here.

Each-way Ga Law

Top class chaser who was below par last time out at Cheltenham in the December Gold Cup, finishing a long way behind in 9th under regular rider Gavin Sheehan. This Paddy Power Chase winner should be bang there if back to form.

Win Libberty Hunter

As Sir Gino is now a non runner through a cut he picked up in his piece of work we will back a horse we put on our horses to follow list.

Top class Chaser who is ultra consistent for Evan Williams, Harry Cobden rode last time and got a wonderful spin round Cheltenham to win impressively. Expect him to run to a similar level and with no Sir Gino he should have a huge chance.

Win Secret Squirrel

Fan favourite for his pretty looks but he has a lot of ability as well, 2 wins from 2 in bumpers and brought that ability straight into hurdle races where he won on debut at Kempton. Ultra consistent type who has never been outside the top 5 when he finishes. Won a very competitive handicap at Windsor on Winter Millions weekend, Sean Bowen booked here and he is the one to beat.

Each-way Fiercely Proud

5 wins from 12 career starts. Fell on 1st start of the season under todays jockey Ben Jones but was running well before coming down. Followed up with a good 6th at Cheltenham 12 lengths of the winner Burdett Road (Holds Champion Hurdle Entry) looked like he was ridden to get home that day under a patient ride. Backed up that run when winning under Kielan Woods at Ascot when battling on well to beat highly respected runner from Paul Nicholls Kabral Du Mathan (finished 2nd next time out) Good chance.

The obvious selection here, will go from the front and win. Fair hurdler but a much better chaser winning all 3 starts over fences and has much more scope for improvement before the spring festivals. Exciting jumper who could be very very good.

Has not ran for 280 days after her 7 lengths 2nd behind Lossiemouth at Punchestown, last win was 2 years ago under todays rider Danny Mullins. Willie Mullins has not done well of recent when sending horses over to England but this looks a weak race for a top mare. Leading Contender.

Win Shakem Up'arry

Very consistent Chaser who came good at Cheltenham last year twice, Winning at the new years day meeting by 7 lengths, went into the Festival with a great chance, going of at 8/1 he jumped well and stayed on up the hill to win by a length under Ben Jones. Callum Pritchard takes of a handy 5 pounds here. Top weight but has loads of ability.

Each-way Smarty Wild

Started his comeback from almost 2 years of the track at Haydock where he was pulled up, after blowing the cobwebs of there he went to Market Rasen for the Veterans' Final where he finished a good 3rd. Low weight here of only 10st 6lbs and likely to come on again for his last run.
