Kempton Park is hoping to put on a great days racing with good field sizes, but freezing conditions repeatedly hitting the UK mean we have to hope the track will pass inspection.
There will be 4 races shown live on ITV 4 including the Coral Silviniaco Conti Chase (Grade 2) which has a field of 4. We will get 1 extra race from Fairyhouse in Ireland and 2 from Ffos Las but due to the meet being added last minute, we have no confirmed runners.

Our picks for the race
To win: Bhaloo
Won first chase start well at Ascot in November then never travelled a yard at Cheltenham in December. Should be strong if that was a one off poor performance.
Each-way: Hubrisko
Left Willie Mullins yard to join Harry Derham after winning a chase by 13 lengths at Killarney. Finished a remote 7th on stable debut at Newbury they should have learnt a lot that day, dangerous to discount.
14:10 Coral 'Pipped-At-The-Post' And Win Handicap Chase
Chase Turf, Handicap Class 2
Distance: 3 miles
Runners: 8
Going: Soft
1st Place prize money: £18,211

Our picks for the race
To win: Roccovango
Won 2 from 3 chases this Autumn, made the step to 3 miles at Uttoxeter for his latest win, would have been more impressive if not for a mistake at the last. 2lb rise is workable.
Each-way: Smarty Wild
1 win from 15 chase starts which was on this card 4 years ago. has ran solidly since. Was of 690 days before being pulled up Haydock, should of got rid of the cobwebs and is on a dangerous mark.
14:42 Coral Silviniaco Conti Chase
Chase Turf, Grade 2 Class 1
Distance: 2 miles 4 1/3 furlongs
Runners: 4
Going: Soft
1st Place prize money: £45,560

Our pick for the race
To win: Pic D'Orhy
The obvious selection but hard to oppose in this company. Won this in 2023 when beating Banbridge well who won the King George this year. Won his 2nd Grade 1 when winning at Ascot last February, should improve for first run of the season.
15:18 Coral Lanzarote Handicap Hurdle
Hurdle Turf, Handicap Class 2
Distance: 2 miles 5 furlongs
Runners: 20
Going: Soft
1st Place prize money: £53,030

Our picks for the race
To win: Impose Toi
Progressive 7-year-old who ran a very good 3rd place when favourite in this race last year, can occasionally make jumping errors. Hurdle record is now 4-8 after his Newbury success 6 weeks ago. Has top weight but he's consistent and should run well.
Each-way: Georgi Girl
6-year-old who has run some good races including 2 wins in the last 5 starts, won on seasonal reappearance in November in a mares race at Warwick then ran well in a big field handicap at Cheltenham. Yard are going great guns at the moment with a 43% strike rate in the last 14 days.

Fairyhouse
13:45 SBK Dan & Joan Moore Memorial Handicap Chase
Chase Turf, Grade 3 Handicap
Distance: 2 miles 1 furlong
Runners: 13
Going: Heavy
1st Place prize money: £49,365

Our picks for the race
To win: American Mike
Ran well in a similar contest over course and distance in November but jumping let him down. Always been highly regarded by his trainer but has not lived up to that as of yet.
Each-way: Path D'oroux
Won well at Cheltenham in October in a Novice contest. Ran an okay race when upped in grade at Carlisle, definitely has ability to get involved here.
